Common ways guys in college get laid here in the USA.

I tried PUA type shit at my university before when I first got here and it kinda got me a bad reputation among some social circles so I quit trying to do things like number close with girls I just met. Thing is, I decided to do some readings online from sources like Good Looking Loser to see how I can better my college situation.

So far from the readings I have done, it seems like a lot of college guys lose their virginity when they are living in dorms where everyone is wild. Another way guys do it is when they join fraternities which seem to be made for guys to have easy sex with a ton of hot girls. My situation is that I am going to be too old to live in dorms (turning 22 soon) and I can't join a fraternity because after this semester I only have like a year of college left. I am also getting into a lot of my tougher engineering classes but have found a way to make time for social life, a little time but some time none the less.

Thing is, college is a closed environment and I run into the same people over and over again at times, this is what I notice. So I fear that if I fuck it up with a girl and go creepy on her, it will look bad on me. I transferred here so I don't have the benefit of the freshman social circle.

I've asked about cold approach but it seems like there are some polarizing things about it. Some posts say don't do it at all because if you get too aggressive or are seen as some sleazy guy, word will spread across campus and you will come across as the creep girls want to avoid. Worst case scenario you end up like that PUA on the Ohio St campus that creeped an entire campus out.

Thing is, I find that I can get some girls interested in me so I know that my looks are not the issue here. My issue is, I don't know how this shit works. Like I don't know what things guys in college do that lead to them getting laid. I don't know what I need to do to finally piece it all together so I don't finish college as a virgin. Like I just don't get it.

Outside of frat parties where a girl visits or being in a dorm, how else do college guys get laid? Like what kind of favorable situations lead to them getting laid?

Like I can

1. talk to girls
2. have some interested in me (few I know have been quite receptive to me)

the problem is, I can't finish, I can't take that final step to where I am getting some.

What I am asking for is, outside of dorms and greek life/being in a fraternity, what are some common scenarios that lead to guys in college getting laid?

Where I am right now is that I feel like I have the tools in my arsenal to do amazing but just can't seem to create the opportunities.

If a girl is receptive to you, ask her on a date. Simple as that. Converting dates to lays takes a bit of experience, but you will only gain that experience by going on a lot of dates. I would strongly suggest to post an FR each time you do so.

I still recommend off-campus cold approach if you can't join a fraternity or get deep within the social circle. You won't have to deal with seeing those same people repeatedly, especially if you go somewhere that is pretty far from campus. But that being said, you can still do a place that's nearby campus and find plenty of women that you don't see regularly. It's going to be your best bet since women won't be weighing your social value or their own reputation at all, and it will come down to strictly whether or not you have strong fundamentals and whether or not she finds you attractive as a potential Lover.

I've somewhat considered that except the town I am in for college is one of those broke poor towns, it is the type of town where everything practically revolves around the university. The quality outside of the university is beyond awful, I am talking really poor, obese women, and around those lines if you see what I am getting at.

As for your other suggestion (place nearby campus), ya that works. I've kinda been doing that, issue is, how to make that lead to lays. I feel so restricted in this university environment and fear that over-aggression will ruin my reputation on campus if someone who recognizes me sees me behaving that way.
