So I was out one night and decided to take a moment, so I stood by the bar. It was a nightclub and everyone else was dancing. I didn't realise it, but there was this dude standing near me who was with a girl, who I had noticed earlier in the night. He spotted that I was idle and started thrusting his hip into mine in a playful way, as if to say "come on dance, don't be shy".
Eventually I put my arm around him and then put my hand down to his ass... hoping that this would make him feel a bit violated, and get him to stop. But he didn't mind at all. "Shit" I thought to myself - the only way to get him to fuck off now would be to get aggressive, and then I'd look silly. He then started saying "the music is in you". By now, eyes were on me, and I was silly in that I felt like I had to do something, so I went over to the girl he was with... who was on the other side of him (some other dude was present too) and said "oh hey is this your hat?" and took it off her and put it back on! She just looked at me as if to say "okay? if you must!". Me thinks "yeah I'd better leave now". Of course the cool guy didn't mind me doing this at all, which made him look cooler. I probably helped that fecker get laid. Firm ass he'd too!
This guy looked like he knew what he was doing alright. But this interaction definitely uped his status, or more so that it
lowered mine. If ever I see a cool guy with a girl (and if he invites me into his group), can I assume that (no matter how polite he is) he'll only make me look like a small bit of a fool... just enough to make him look better in front of the girl? If I decide to invite myself in, that's different. Which leads me into another story.
Next story: I was with a girl at a bar and this very confident dude just walks over to us and introduces himself Sean. He asked us how long we knew each other? 'Not good' I thought. I answered honestly. I couldn't really tell him to fuck off, but So I asked the girl "do you want to talk to Sean honey?" She was okay with him staying there. The 3 of us talked for a while and thankfully he left. But what's the best way to handle this? What could I have answered?
