So I have been trying to construct a vibe that is different from what I have currently. I know what my vibe is currently, but I'd like to have role models for the vibe that I want to have. My ideal vibe would be low energy, mysterious, arrogant, edgy, unaffected, and sarcastic, but also someone who cares deep down for people (although he might not say it, he shows it), and is a romantic who truly cares about people and is selfless. In short an anti-hero and a Byronic character.

What I'm looking for help with is characters to model myself after. TV shows and movies would be the most helpful, and any mentalities that you guys have that fit this will help as well.

I recently watched "Casino Royale," and Daniel Craig's portrayal of James Bond resonates strongly with me. Before I saw the film, I wasn't sure about James Bond because he seemed too serious for me, but it turns out he has fun, flirty side too (see the scene where he and Vesper are in the car and he's teasing her about how she's supposed to be madly in love with him and how they'll be sharing a suite; how he responds to her objection is nothing short of brilliant). You may find the character's vibe similar to the one you desire.

It was interesting how the writers injected some vulnerability by revealing that Bond was an orphan. Seems like vulnerability works best when women are already attracted and/or feel your attainability is too low. I've been wondering how I can work in my Byronic qualities as well (hence my username, and I naturally have a lot of them...maybe too much).

Xcrunner, that's a tough bunch of qualities to roll up in one character, although nowhere near impossible, its hard to think of someone that would fit that description (especially since I never watch TV). The first person that comes to my mind, although I'm sure you've already heard and seen him do his thing, is James Marshall from the Natural Lifestyles Seduction. He is low energy and fairly mysterious/edgy, mostly due to his presence which in some videos you can tell is pretty demanding and piercing. I'm sure there's something you can watch and take away from him that would fit your vibe.

On the James Bond deal I agree with that also he's on point and is just super G throughout the whole movie. Especially when the bad guys are whipping the dudes nuts, he's just a fuckin warrior lol.

James Bond is a great one. Mr. Rob, I'm not saying each of those traits has to be met, but I'd like to have role models for at least some of them. Really any Byronic character. If anyone can even think of a character that meets even a couple of these, I'd like to know.
