Cowboy Boots Questions

Short and simple one here, Chase said brown goes with more colors, and brown boots probably standout more anyways, but what can you wear with brown cowboy boots anyways? I've heard that fashion rule "Don't wear brown shoes with black pants" among other rules about brown, sow hat else can you not wear with brown shoes? All my shoes have been Vans colored red, or black shoes.


Also, do you tuck in your pants into the boots or not?

And should there be a lot of design on them or should they be simple?

I like boots because they can make you appear much, much taller. I'm only 5'10" (which I'd guess is around average height, maybe a bit over, in North America for a male), and a good pair of boots with a big heel can make me appear to be over 6 feet tall.

However- Never been a fan of "Cowboy" boots, really.

Oh and P.S... pants OUTSIDE the boots. At least here in the midwest, girls wear their pants inside the boots and men wear them outside their boots.

Thanks man. I feel you on the height, I'm barely 5'11" and could use the extra heel on boots. I have a pair of basic black combat boots that add height to me and people have said I look like a rock star when I'm wearing them.

Personally, I don't know if I'm a fan of cowboy boots yet, but I can see how someone wouldn't be. I'm experimenting with flashier shoe styles, thinking about getting some reddish dress shoes like what Tyler Durden wore earlier in the movie. Or maybe some cool engineer boots with the buckle on them. What boots do you prefer to wear?

If you don't like the pointy boots, check out the "square tip" boots. I have two pairs, brown and black and I always always get compliments. Wear some nice ironed jeans and they really stand out.

Putting brown and black together when pick out an outfit is a No No.

I don't own a pair of cowboy boots, but own a pair of stylish black boots and feel boots are the way to go. The way I see it is like boots are the guys equivalent to girls high heels. They make me feel more manly, grounded, and dominant when I where them

I could go for pointy or square. What all pants do you wear with your brown boots? If it's just jeans, let me know how dark your jeans are. I've never worn brown shoes before, don't really know what they go with.

See that's what I thought, so can you just wear blue jeans with brown boots and that's it? Seems limiting.

Boots are definitely the way to go, I'm with you on that.
