Hey, not on here much, but hoping I might get some insight on how to approach this scenario. Thanks in advance.
Just moved into new place with some buddies. Coincidentally, a house of girls moved next door at the exact same time. Met one of the girls (the one i'm crushing on) when moving in and she invited me to hang out with her friend group that night at a small party. She invited me out to some bar later that night with her but by that time I was already wrapped up in some other social activity (which I couldn't dip easily from as it was far away and I had driven my friend there). I ended up hanging out with her and another of her roommates the following night (just from seeing them come home at the same time as me and starting conversation). We definitely have a good flirty/friendly dynamic and she is very much my type both physically and personality-wise.
I understand there might be some pitfalls of trying to hook up with a neighbor, but I definitely want to try to pull this off if I can. Would appreciate any advice on how to approach this. I'm in a good place socially/girl-wise right now and am not at all in a needy or simpy mentality and have been getting laid. My read on her is that she's liberal sexually and wouldn't mind something more casual (many of her friends are gay/lesbian which is another indicator of this at least to me).
How should I approach this? I'm in no rush, so wouldn't mind laying-low and waiting for the right opportunity if y'all think that may be the right move, they seem to want to have people over/small parties quite a bit so waiting for something like that and inviting her over after could be a move. She still hasn't seen my place so that could be another angle to get her alone with plausible deniability at some point. Definitely want to avoid coming off too forward and getting rejected making things awkward the rest of the year, although my calibration is as good as its ever been right now so I feel pretty confident in being able to avoid that situation.
