Cute Girl in a Little Shop

There is a very cute girl in a little take out place in town. Its the size of a bedroom and the other employees are right there.

I'm also the son of a doctor in town, I work in his office at the moment and we get lunch together here. Being mindful of his reputation, I want to tread carefully here.

I think I'm just going to ask her out when the other employees walk off into the back room (rarely happens). Maybe even right in front of them.

What would you do?

I don't know your dads personality so I would advise that you talk to him. Tell him that you find the girl attractive and would like to ask her out. Let him give you his advice. Most likely he will tell you to be polite and ask her out. You have now eliminated the issue with your dads reputation and let him make that call. If he at first tells you to not ask her out, keep talking to him about how cute she is and how you wonder what she is like. Don't bring up asking her out again. If you keep talking her up you will wear him down and he will tell you to ask her out. If this fails then ask her what time she gets off work and show up then. If you ask her out while she is working make it quick. Tell her you know she is working and want to ask her a quick question. Get her phone number and call her later to work out the details. This will show you respect her and her job.

On the other hand, she may not be attracted enough to you, she is just pulling your sock but she is not really interested - so unless she is mature enough you are risking dealing with lots of emotions, feelings and even potential drama. No good for office settings. I would avoid asking her directly in front of others...

Drck that is a couple of good points. That is why I recommended 2 Wick review Chase's signs of interest. If you are just another customer to her then you need to work on getting her interested. Use the long eye contact with the targeted compliment to get her looking your way. It works. I have done it many times. Of course if she is not interested it could be she is in a relationship. It is not like a one time shot on the street or in a bar. Of course once you have her attention do not screw around. Escalate.
