Date logistics

Hey guys,

I met a girl this weekend and I am trying to set up a meet up. We have agreed on a day and she Immidately suggested getting food in her area of the city and going to dollar beer night. It is a 5-10min cab right and it's just out of safe walking range.

Since that would screw my logistics I am not inclined to accept. I counter offered her coming to my area. I am posting this before getting her response.

I am not sure how to proceed? Any suggestions would be great!

Hey brum,

I'd suggest you go, for the sake of reference points. If you were more experienced it'd be a diff story (and in that case you'd most likely need not ask the question) but I don't see it as a lost cause, and deff worth the experience. I'd go with the intent of seeing what happens. See what you can milk from the situation. Since it's but a short cab ride over, it's not an enormous investment, and given the location is in her area you can always suggest bouncing back to her place after.

See it as an experiment. If it doesn't work out you're all the more knowledgeable for it,

Hey Topcat,

I have no intention of bailing I was looking for the best way to counter offer her coming closer to me. She actually accepted my counter offer immediately. No problems here anymore!
