Hey All,

Hope you are doing well!

I've been battling with my brain lately about a 'crazy girl'. Long story short - we've slept a few times together over the last 4-5 months, made out a few other times (that I didn't get laid)... Basically there is chemistry and things are cool and casual with not too much drama. I've kind of reached the point now where I feel emotionally invested and at the same time I can feel that this isn't working for her anymore. So I'm considering moving this along a bit more (at least have an official casual relationship). The debate starts here though - she fits quite well the cluster B spectrum...

* She thinks she is the biggest princess of the world
* Seeks validation and is a party animal
* Overuses drugs and does stupid shit which she then regrets about (still has a low partner count surprisingly, but can't say the same about the amount of guys she's made out with - and I've cross checked this as much as I can :D)
* She's had abusive relationships in the past (previous boyfriend hit her a few times)
* Sometimes switches between emotional moods (possibly due to drugs and points above)
* She unconsciously (or maybe partially consciously?) creates a first impression as a stupid spoiled, but hot babe. On the contrary, she's one of the more intelligent people I know and is extremely socially aware.
* Then she bitches about why guys only want to sleep with her...

You get the picture. On the plus side, she's hot, comes from a great family, is smart and has had an unfortunate set of events that got her to this point. I fully realise that this can't really end very well for me - I'm falling into white knighting a cluster B basically. So given the state I'm at right now I see only two options (correct me if there's more?):

1) Fight through my emotions and cut all contact
2) Use this as a learning curve - go into it full throttle, fail and make my own reference points. I've never dated a girl like that so all my knowledge is basically from GC and is theoretical.

So I guess my question is - what do you guys think? Would option 2) be worth it ? I generally do well with breakups (even with long term ones) so I'm not too scared about that. And avoiding a type of girl based on pure theory will always haunt me to an extent.. Surely personal experience wins over just theoretically knowing something?

Thanks in advance !
