1. Has anyone ever dated a oneitis lookalike? Did you compare them to the original? Were you still pining after your oneitis when this happened or had you moved on?
2. Has anyone ever gotten back with a oneitis, regardless of if you had moved on or not?
If I see someone in person or online who is a lookalike of either of these three women detailed below, I get like, instant attraction and/or want to go talk to them and hope it works out. With the first one, I used to get really sad when I saw a lookalike originally I think somewhere somehow that changed. So how do I know if that instant attraction is real, eg this is my type of woman, or if its just me trying to recreate the original oneitis? Or is it that , well 2 of them at least, treated me good in the moment and so you think lookalikes might do the same? All these possible variables.
2011 Hangout/sleeping together for 2 weeks, I was a jerk she went back to her ex and then I got oneitis. When I met her, I thought "something about this woman that I like that I can't put my finger on" despite more attractive women walking around where we first met.
2013 Met soneone who was a lookalike of the 2011woman, I wanted to keep seeing her and we did hookup twice, I didn't act like a jerk, I did find out she was seeing someone else at the same time so that might explain that one not wanting to see me. I did pine for this one a bit too. But I also wanted her in the moment. Then again, maybe she was not as invested/interested as the 2011 and 2016 woman, so I wanted her more?
2016 Met someone, only saw her twice but slept together 3x and she really liked me and I also, despite her not being a 10, I still enjoyed her company, maybe her personality? But I was comparing her to the 2011 woman and she was not good enough in the moment, I then stuffed up about saying not being exclusive too bluntly, or saying ot twice, and she got upset so yeah then she went back to her ex. Then I got oneitis over her. I may have preferred her over the 2011 woman once the 2016woman pulled away, but then once it settles down a bit, or if I imagine getting back with 2016woman, then the 2011 oneitis is more attractive. and possibly vice versa too. I want to create a separate thread about that.
