FR Daygame testing new opener (w/ dialogue)

Hey GC squad,

I did some daygame today since I'm on break and had nothing else to do haha. Here is the dialogue of the interactions that I had:

Me: hi! where is the holiday market? (we were right in front of it)
Her: sorry, I don't know, im not from here
Me: oh okay, where are you from?
Her: San Francisco. Im here visiting.
Me: oh okay!
--she walks away a little but then sees the holiday market and motions for me to come back over to her--
Her: its right here!
Me: oh thank you! actually I was just joking and thought you were cute, so I wanted to meet you Im Seth.
Her: hi im [name] *handhsake*
Me: nice. are you getting any gifts here?
Her: no just wandering around. im actually waiting here for my boyfriend
Me: oh okay. youre visiting- do you have family in the area?
Her: no my boyfriend's it
Me: oh okay, it was nice to meet you!
Her: you too!

I never usually believe girls when they say they have boyfriends during a cold approach. However, her story seemed to be adding up and I am not entirely comfortable trying to close with a girl in a relationship, so I figured I better move onto the next one.

Me: Hi where's the holiday market?
Her: *look of confusion as if she didn't speak English, and I live in a big city so this is feasible* No clue, not from here.
Me: Oh you have an accent where are you from?
Her: From Paris, France
Me: okay! I was actually kidding. I just thought you were cute so I wanted to meet you. Im Seth
Her: Hi im [name] *handshake*
Me: is this your first time here?
Her: first day of the first time
Me: nice. how do you like it?
Her: its great! *she couldn't expand more because her English was not great*
Me: are you single by any chance?
Her: no I have a boyfriend.

We then proceeded to talk about Europe and how I am going on a trip there in the spring. I said goodbye and we left it at that. Also had a boyfriend

Me: hi! where's the holiday market?
Her: *turns around confused* right there. *points to market right behind us*
Me: im kidding, I thought you were cute so I wanted to meet you! Haha. Im Seth *handshake*
Her: *laughs hard*
Me: wow your eyes match your jacket (they were both bright blue)
Her: yes Ive been told blue is my color
Me: yeah, are you just coming from a workout class?
Her: yeah!
Me: lets move over here *I motion for her to turn 90 degrees towards me*
Her: actually I have to get going.
Me: okay! but lemme grab your number!
Her: sure!
Me: *hand her phone but she hesitates to take it* take it, its not going to shock you
Her: *puts number in phone* here. nice to meet you!
Me: likewise!

This was by far my best daygame interaction to date, and I have been practicing for a couple of weeks now. This opener has the benefit of opening indirectly, so you dont scare girls with being too direct, but then it leaves space to follow up with a direct statement, which I like. Previously I had been opening with "Hi, I thought you were cute so I wanted to meet you!" This was very high pressure for me and the girls, so I feel like this opener works a lot better! Thanks Chase for the suggestion! Also, the girl whose number I got was super hot, so I'm really excited right now haha.

As always I would appreciate any suggestions for how my interactions went. I am working on banter, building rapport, and just staying in the interaction longer.

[Fuck This]

I usually won't say "I thought you were cute and I had to introduce myself" My actions already indicate that. The exception is when she asks as if to challenge me or is genuinely curious.

"so why did you ask me?"

and my response is:" Well you looked friendly and like someone I wanted to know a little better, and I'm glad I said hello."
