So the situation is I met up with a girl I met online (match). So this was the first time every meeting her, and met her for a drink. Took a bit to warm up, but we had a really good vibe going, touched her plenty of times and we had some prolonged hand contact going where we lightly held hands across the table for 5 secs or touching, prolonged eye contact, talked about sexual stuff to her a bit in a casual way and she seemed intrigued. So the physical stuff was there, and overall she and I were definitely having a good time.
We were there for about 1 1/2 hrs, and the place was in between us both (20 mins from me, about 20 mins from her). So things were winding down and she had to get up early to work so I was walking to her car, I could tell she maybe seemed a bit nervous, etc. But what I had decided was maybe it was better not to kiss her there outside her car (cliche), and maybe wait till next time till she could driv over closer to my house and then maybe I could find a way to bring her back to my place.
But what happened was, lol...I leaned in to kiss her on the cheek and a small hug, and then it was funny....she kind of laughed in a nervous way immediately after because I THINK (though I dont know for sure), she maybe thought I was going to kiss her and she was going in the for the kiss and well, and it turned into a kiss on the cheek/hug type thing. Though it wasn't completely noticeable, but I think that's where her nervous laugh came from.
Anyway, afterward she looked up at me and in a nervous way she said...I had a good time tonight. And I know what that look meant, she was hoping or thinking that maybe I would kiss her...but I didn't. But the date DID go well, and it WAS our first time meeting.
So now given all that info...what do you guys think? Do you think I screwed this up if it seemed like she was hoping for the kiss and I didn't kiss her because I want to wait till next time to maybe kiss her in a more spontaneous way (NOT end of date) or back at my place? Or do you think it's not such a bad thing that she wanted one and I didn't do it?
Guess I'm wondering whether I screwed it up and she'll go cold on me, or if this is not a huge deal and if she had a good time will want to meet up again.
