Looks-wise the bartender could well be a Victoria Secret Angel.
She's seems fun too. I never even consider talking to her, but I smile at her as I am enjoying myself and the music. She's smiling back.
I like the bar's decoration. As I want to take a picture, I notice her standing right there, so I decide to make her the center of it. Why not.
I notice she's looking my way a lot and return her looks. One moment, as I am close to the bar, she asks me: "Did you take a picture of me?"
"Yes, but it didn't work [in regards to lighting]", I respond honestly.
Sparkles in her eyes, she wants to know where I am from. "Oh that's so cool", is her comment to my response.
"Well, we should take a selfie ... or ask somebody to take a picture of us!". Wow.
My friend takes the picture.
"Doesn't look good", she states.
As I try to respond, she's already gone.
Quite some time later, lacking any better idea, I ask if she's from [capital].
"No, I'm from [town]."
"Oh? Where?" (as in: where exactly?)
"Google it."
For a second I believe she's about to tell me what zone she lives in, but as I reach for my phone, I stop:
"I know [town]. I live there."
She either doesn't seem to believe me or she doesn't care. Anyway as I stata "How strange that we never ran into each other before", she seems to actually not hear me, but looks at me *as if* she was listening, while serving a customer next to me.
I brush off her ignoring me. I am a little surprised it actually works ... only to feel a profound sadness the following day.
