Met this girl in class last year. She had a long-term boyfriend that she was serious about. Even though she gave me obvious indicators that she was into me, like telling me I was really hot and that she would go on a date with me if she were single. She's a hot half Asian half white girl.
So I actually asked her out on a date some random time before this and she said she was dating another guy at that time, so I said no worries and left it at that. She texted me a week or two later asking if I was still down for that date, I guess it didn't work out with that other guy. I had to cancel that first original day we scheduled to meet up.
Then on a Thursday we scheduled a lunch date. We were both busy until much later so we ended up showing up around 9:00 p.m. so it became a dinner date unintentionally. I took her to a sushi place she had never been to and she liked the food. We basically just talked and was flirty for an hour-ish and then we left around 10:00 p.m. I hugged her when I saw her and I hugged her when we left.
I scheduled another date that has not happened yet, it was never solidified. I think what went wrong here was that I never made an attempt at isolating her and escalating. I didn't get that vibe from her, but maybe I was simply misreading her. She did at one point ask me if I was still living at the apartment I was at and certain questions about my logistics, this might not have been casual conversing, but instead her hinting at a way for me to invite her over, "Yeah, I'm still there, do you wanna come check it out?" Instead, I missed that cue.
I'll keep hitting her up but I think the iron is not hot anymore to strike. She thinks I'm hot and I think she's hot, so this is strange how I haven't laid her yet. Crazy how important game is on top of looks, and how I messed that up.
