Direct approach vs Indirect approach

Hey guys, been reading some FR (such as AsianPersuasion) and I have noticed that when people use the direct approach line like "I thought you were cute" people get a ton of rejections.
I have seen LR where the guys weren't so direct. I find that situational and good fundamentals (for me, my eye contact is killer lol) work best for me so far, but every time I use the "cute" line I bomb.

Have you gotten more lays with direct or indirect?

Depends on your style. Fast approaches going direct is better, for longer lasting interactions indirect is somewhat preferred.
