Do her connections matter?

This question is of specific relevance to a post I made nearly a year ago on a LR that resulted in false rape accusations within a private school (don't worry, I can assure you it has a happy ending for me). Anyway, after this accusation students where good to me and continue to be to date (they had a sense of what really happened). However, all the teachers accept one teacher that was like a father to me (respect to this man) really didn't like me. It was a pretty uncomfortable situation so I left the school and found a better alternative (my current) but the students still wanted to keep in touch as well as the one teacher.

Some of the girls wanted to keep in touch in a romantic capacity (not the girl who cried rape). I should also mention the previous school is very small (ten students per grade) and most where raised attending here, they have a tendency to be very intimate with each other on a normal basis (They claim its platonic, but I don't buy it much). For them meeting an outsider like myself they way they did (in school) is incredibly rare.

So I was wondering for reasons varying from friendships to abundance mentality or even a regular sexual relation of some sort (currently debating), would it be wise? I don't see them to be the kind to throw me under the bus (as they really want to keep in touch and continue to try to reach out to me, one girl especially), but I do know word spreads like wildfire in the of school which may still have a bone to pick with me.

Wanderer I would go for it, if the whole rape accusation business has died down and these people want to keep in touch and hook with this chick I don't really see that much of a draw back, your just getting on with your life and the school or who ever got a bone to pick you just call them out on their bs.

Thanks, I'll definitely look into getting back in touch with them then (I believe it has).

But my main concern is of another false accusation and thus going to court because when I called to notify them I was no longer attending their school, the principle (who is very close most of the students as well, and didn't like me much) told me there was a second accusation (this was a girl who I had ask for a number from, I forgot she was close friends with the original girl who tried to throw me under the bus XD. She's since graduated from the school.) and not to go back. Then again, the teacher who did like me did tell me the students would miss me.

In short, I'm more concerned about the legal risks rather than the social ones (not sure if you can call bs in the court of law). I'm not sure if anyone here is a lawyer or has similar experience, but since I'm doing this, is there anything I should keep an eye out for?
