I just saw an american movie scene just now and the wife caught her husband in a strip club and when they got back to their house, she gave him a pillow and asked him to sleep in the living room... and I am like wtf? Does that scenario actually happen in USA???

I think it happens in Asia as well. Asking the husband to sleep on the floor or living room. Unless the girl is a drama bitch (HAHA!!), which one of my acquaintances wife is, unfortunately, then expect yourself to sleep outside often.

:) cultural differences... that shit does not happen in west africa... no police is going to intervene just because a woman wants her husband to sleep outside of their bedroom, they would just look the other way...

I've had a few girlfriends from various continents try it with me. They'd get pissed and tell me I was sleeping on the couch.

Inevitably, either they reconciled with me, or they slept on the couch themselves, because my response to this is always, "I'm tired, so I'm sleeping in the bed. You can join me if you like. But I'm not sleeping on the couch because I have no interest in sleeping on the couch."

It's somewhat amusing to have a girl sleep on the couch after she tried to get YOU to sleep on the couch. I had a girl's roommate who was quite confused, asking her how she ended up sleeping on the couch if she was the one mad at me, and besides, it was HER room, anyway. My girl didn't really have a good response, except that I am an asshole. She made up with me a few days later, and continually called me an asshole for making her sleep on the couch, but the spike in attraction was palpable.

I can only imagine the fall in attraction most guys must get when they tuck tail and go crash on the couch like a little boy in time out.
