Do You Make Music?

Hello friends, I make electronic music and I am wondering if there is anyone else involved in the music scene on these boards?

backstory,

I'm heavily involved in the electronic music scene... not so much in the past year or so, but I've been involved since my first rave in 2009.

I have a lot of friends who are DJs/producers, and I go to a lot of clubs/shows with big (and not-so-big) artists. I generally am into the harder stuff (electro, dubstep, D&B, drumpstep, trap) but I also enjoy house, psytrance, and some forms of techno.

Always good to find fellow electronic music lovers. =)

Depends on what you mean by involved; I have no hand in the production of music but know a lot of people who are becoming bigger and bigger in everything from rap to rock to electronic.

Furthermore, I listen to a plethora of music from post-hardcore (Amity Affliction, Crown the Empire) to 90s rap (Nas, Mos Def, etc.) to all electronic sub-genres (Galantis, Tritonal, Zeds Dead, etc). If you could see all of the music on my phone.

I'm always happy to chat with somebody about music

I make metal music. Fruity loops is one of the many programs I use, mainly for aspects of drum programming, it's great program.

The only major break I've taken from making music in the last 5 yrs is to hone my pickup skills and practice the advice from this site! hahaha.

I was definitely planning to get into making some music over this summer with a friend,

Still trying to find a good DAW to use, and was planning on devoting time to learning music theory as well over summer.

Also gladly taking any advice haha
