I'd guess yes because girls are getting so many messages from guys, they have so many to choose from. I'm 5'4.

I have a POF profile, and I've messaged over 50 girls. I've had six girls look at my profile, but no replies. I use Chase's template for messages, and I've tried one of his for my profile.

Something about my profile must be turning them off from me. If someone could look at my profile and let me know if there's something I could change to improve my results, that would be fantastic. Thanks.

For some reason, I can't see your profile, but here's what I can tell you:

A. Height does matter, yes. I would hide it if you're really short. Girls don't care as much IRL. But when all they have is a description and pictures, physically appearance becomes huge.
B. Your pictures probably aren't that good. You might think they are, but they have to be EXCEPTIONAL not just "good". I went 2 yrs thinking my pictures were above average (plus I'm pretty good looking anyways!) and got 0 dates. Then I finally got them professionally done. And in the past 6 months, I've gotten 20+ (lost count so i don't know exactly how many).
C. Just because they viewed your profile and didn't message you doesn't mean there's anything wrong. Lots of girls will view and not message. On OKcupid, almost every girl I message views me. But probably only 1/4 or 1/5 actually message me.
D. I highly recommend using Tinder, or at the very least Okcupid. POF has sooooo many more guys than girls, that even good profiles rarely get play. Its honestly a waste of time at this point.

I'm gonna say this again Pictures are everything. Without good pictures, you won't find dates. Doesn't matter how clever your messages, and how great your profile description. Girls only look at pics, and typically at just your first one.
