Things started strong, but went downhill fast. My weeks have been gradually getting better and showing steady growth, but this past week just sucked.
Monday started strong, I approached a 10/10 blonde girl at the gym in record time, before I even started my lifts and practically the second I saw her. A huge improvement for me, it would usually take me until half my workout or even until my entire workout was complete to start approaching.
I kind of froze up in the middle of the conversation though, I had approached her without even noticing how she looked at first and my brain started to register halfway "Oh my god this is a really really REALLY hot girl!" . She started to giggle and smile like she caught me in the act (I had started very indirect) which she did. I played it off, but couldn't salvage it.
Even in the beginning of this week though something was ebbing away at me, to keep it short, a girl I really liked was potentially moving and I wanted to ask her out, but was psyched out about it for half the week and it distracted me from my Game. I eventually asked her out and never got a response on the date plans.
I was really depressed and done for the rest of the week. I pushed myself to go to a really popular town/bar in my area a friend recommended to me.
The whole street was sprawling with 10/10's, some even gave me signals, but my brain just wasn't there.
I had delayed going out so long that night that I vastly underestimated how packed the bars were going to be, I should have gone earlier. I forced myself into one and to keep it blunt, I was too sober to deal with the blasting music and how there was barley any room to breath in the place. It was impossible to get a drink and I held out for a while, but I just couldn't and bailed.
I got some momentum at the end of the week, I pushed myself to go to explore a new part of NYC and managed one approach at a really popular coffee shop and had a nice conversation, no number close, just a reminder that I can do this and I can get the momentum back.
