Hi Everyone,
For my school, I must get up at 6 a.m. and be there by 7. Everyone else in my class does to. When it's that early, no one really talks or flirts or anything. I've tried doing it, but I end up coming off as unobservant and boring because I'm so dang tired. I feel just awful at that early hour and I can't go to bed earlier or anything because of the massive amount of homework I have plus extra curriculars. Does anybody have advice on how to kind of instantly wake up, or use my sleepy attitude to my advantage?
I'm also wondering how to deal with unresponsive girls. There are a couple around that I've talked to, but they're either on their phone or kinda ditzy. I've tried getting their attention by physically grabbing them, and asking for eye-contact. It's worked once or twice, but usually they just giggle and walk away. I've also tried just flat out leaving mid sentence and they look up for a second, but then go back to their phone or ditziness. Is there any way to grab someone's attention immediately, but not have it come off as rude?
My final question involves the social scene. So our class president is very kind, but he's a social butterfly. I've tried deep diving with him, but he never lets me (AKA giving a surface level answer). He can make or break a reputation, and yeah, yeah, I know I shouldn't care about reputation but I'm still in highschool so everybody knows everyone and word spreads quick. I really want to befriend him and his social group, but can't figure out a way to do so. His closest friends are people he's known since they were babies, and I only met him this year. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
TnA
