Are all of these essentially the same thing? Or are there differences and nuances to each that would be helpful to understand?
Chase says that "people feel most connected to those whom they feel know them best." So simply having her talk about herself makes her feel connected.
What about her relating to you? This is a concept I have a hard time understanding. I can get women to talk about herself, but I have really esoteric values, interests, and beliefs that people usually cannot relate to. Or relating the same as building an emotional connection (e.g. simply understanding what makes someone tick, and not necessarily agreeing with their values and beliefs)?
