I've been working with a women for a number of years now. I'm single with no kids, she has (had) a partner no kids. It's been one of those work situations where we sometimes flirt to varying degrees however never anything significant. We're both middle aged.
I've never done anything due to her having a partner that she was evidently happy with, as far as you can ever tell that is. Long story short, after an illness her partner died. I expect she'll be back at work in a few weeks time maybe slightly longer depending on her emotional state.
When she does return to work, she'll obviously still be emotionally fragile to some extent. The question is do I use this emotional state relatively early on when she returns to work to see if it helps me manipulate the situation with a view to sex (e.g. her defenses might be lower and her rationale thought processes might be skewed) or do I remain the gentleman and allow month after month to pass before making my move?
I want to ensure I approach this correctly to achieve my objective so any advice is welcome
