I'm starting to watch James Bond movies, mostly Sean Connery, i was wondering if this style is a lot to munch? I love how well he uses the Law of Least Effort, and his seen it all, hard to impress persona; coupled with a nice wit and topped with sexy nonverbals. That is what I'm trying to emulate.

In todays modern era, is this style still good? Or is it too over the top? Should I be a bit more outgoing, etc?

If you can be congruent to the persona then yeah it's not an issue. Meaning if you are James Bond then you can get with acting like him.

However a lot of guys want to be James Bond and put on the façade that they are like him, when in reality they are newbies to interacting with women and don't know how to actually be smooth.

I was this way when I first started trying to get better with women, I took myself super seriously, and acted "too cool" to have fun.

Since I wasn't super attractive yet I didn't really congruently fit the bill. However when I put my ego aside and actually started to have fun and develop my personality a bit I ended up having much better interactions.

Mr. Rob that's exactly how I was a couple weeks back, acting way too cool and shit, and i never got shit done... I was too cool to do anything... i decided to say fuck it and let loose, then slowly get better, etc. I haven't looked back ever since
