I just read Chases's article about escalation windows. It's packed with really important information but there are few examples. Could someone experienced give some examples, please?

Hey,
the best example of a missed window is when you went on a date with a girl, everything went lovely and well, and you thought you were in... But after first date is over, things turn cold and flakey and eventually you never secure that second date.
From my journal, here is an example. She got excited around me during the date and all was fine, but I didn't take her home. Later in the week, I tried to setup a second date like restaurant or walking by the beach, but she said she "prefers indoor activities". I suggested going to the swimming pool. Still no. Finally I mentioned coming home to cook with me, and this time she said yes... But finally flaked big time.
She wanted me to take her to bed... But it had to come from me of course. I failed to do that on date one. Then I kept being stupid, even if she was outright telling me about "indoors activities". When I finally got it, she had run out of patience with me and it was over.
It was my aha moment. Never assume that you will get another date. If she's ready to come with you, you need to do it now or risk losing her.
From then on, I started to push for first date sex whenever I could... And my success did skyrocket as a result.
