Hi guys, a recent report that initially took place a couple weeks ago, me talking to this girl, and I saw her today, and the interaction didn’t go the way I wanted.
So a few weeks ago, I sit next to her and her friend, mind my own business for a bit. I hear them talking about spicy sauces, and then I open them “You guys want this sauce?”
They said it’s ok, but we make casual convo, where they said they have a test for one class. I tell them about a professor in a similar class that I’m taking, as I’m describing him, they realize they have the same professor, even though they go to a different school.
We start talking about the professor, how he’s a bit of a nutcase(he really is) and we want to see if we have any mutual friends, so I give the girl I wanted my instagram, I see she has an outrageous ratio for someone who’s not an influencer, knew a person that goes to my college, but unfollowed him anyways. I proceed to tease her on this.
At one point, I tell them about an interaction I had in the clubs, with a guy who thought I was Spanish, they said they could see that, I said we took his cigarettes.
They said “yeah we try to get guys cigarettes all the time.”
I said “oh you flirt with guys to get their cigarettes?”
They both agreed a bit silently.
We keep talking, and I ask “you’re not gonna unfollow me out of the blue right?” (Shouldn’t have done that) she says no, I say “I might unfollow you first” to which she says “ I have the app that tracks whether someone unfollows me”, to which I reply “sei pazza”(you’re crazy in Italian), to which she says maybe.
We find out our hometowns are not that far away from each other, I tell her about a great bar area, she says she’s down to go and meet up there in the summer.
I also ask if she’s going out anytime soon, which she says next week, but to text her.
She and her friend leave,
And I text her this on instagram “Hey [name] nice meeting you, how was your test?”
She never opened the message, a couple weeks later, she posts a photo of herself and I say “uhh ohh thirst trap” to which she replies “hahahaah”. I then say “boring response
“ “4/10”. And she never opened it.
Today I saw her with 2 friends, I think she noticed me before I did her, I saw one of her friends checking me out, I felt good about seeing an approach signal, then using peripheral vision, I realized it was them. I waited a bit, went over to them briefly, as I was walking over, she looked at her friends, not me. I did a little whistle to get her attention, asked them how their day was going, they did the same, then I wished them a nice lunch. I could hear them chuckling a bit behind me, I don’t think it’s a good sign but I’m not sure. Second interaction today was a bit awkward tbh, since I had to whistle to get her attention.(I probably had it before, some strange women out there).
Tbh I realized I never qualified her, other than giving more attention to her when I realized that we live close to each other back home, I put her in the toxic girl category, and I might be right. Still though, I don’t want to be bitter, I want to be better, there were holes in this interaction, I’m open to any feedback.
