I finally got a chance to read this properly, and shit eh, it's a puzzle!

Umm first thing that occurs to me is about your roommate, can I take it that it's a shared room, like a bunk setup? Cos if you have your own bedroom you can take her there no problems, but if it's the same room as your roommate you've got a big problem. Because basically, making your seductions dependent on someone else's random actions looks really weak in her eyes and kills attraction. Yet you cannot really just be a boss and say "hey mate XXX and I would like to be alone together, could u come back later" cos it's also his space so this would look quite uncalibrated. Such a situation is best avoided, but if it can't be helped then maybe you could make an arrangement that you'll text each other from the date if either of you need privacy in future? Anyway I suspect 40min was too long and she went off the boil i.e. you disqualified yourself as lover but still had boyfriend value, this seems to fit with your own conclusion.

The other thing I am concerned about is your use of the hard push, IMO the hard push is best used if she won't pull or won't isolate, and should be used in conjunction with plausible deniability, I posted an example of this here. To get into a logical discussion with her (which is basically what a hard push amounts to) about taking her panties off is a nogo, it just cements the objections in her mind. Ray good advice as always. I would add to be prepared for Friday. Make sure the roommate is gone and make sure she knows he won't there at all. I am sure the roommate cooled her off. She may have also been concerned he could come back at any time. Tell her he went home for the weekend or something like that. Like Ray said pussy first and take the pants and panties off together. Eliminate one more level of resistance.
