after researching extensively,I have come to this conclusion.
gin, vodka, or whisky wont work when you are creating fake baileys. The only thing that gives a decent enough result is rum.
I personally used captain morgan rum,as it is very cheap in Kenya.
I then added vannilla ice cream(I dont know wether brand matters). My miixture as maybe 5 parts ice cream,1 part rum.
I then added sugar to taste .
it tasted decent enough but still didnt have the color.
I experimented with cofee to add color, but this failed miserably,by the time the cofee colors the concotion to look like baileys,it gives it too much of a bitter taste.
In the end i settled for food color.
I have so far given my fake baileys to two girls without any noticing a thing,I thing part of this is because baileys and amarula are so expensive that people dont drink them that often(at least in kenya),so even if i fumble the taste no one knows.
I have also realised I can get away with adding more alcolhol(rum) just as long as i add sugar to compensate.
