I see a trend in Chase's posts, about how important fashion is to your fundamentals, but I'm not sure if I understand.
I only wear clothes that fit me, and clothes that I like. Let's take jeans, because jeans are an easy example. I went out by myself the other day to the mall to get some jeans (and do some cold approaching) and I ended up going to an old navy store. I got a pair of jeans that fit well and that I liked, but I could tell it wasn't popular with my kind of crowd. It didn't have any designs on the back. Jeans in every other store though are the exact same, sometimes worse, yet they usually cost at least twice more. They are the jeans with some little design on the back..so is that what Chase means when he talks about buying designer jeans? What is the point of spending well over 2 or even 3 or 4 times as much for a pair of jeans, when you can get the exact same pair for $20 or $30 bucks, instead of $80 or $90 dollars!?
When it comes to t's and sweaters (I go for hoodies usually) I just get them from all over the place.
