Hi Guys,
It seems like the word "Fate" and that "you can't fight fate" seems to be toss around too often. I wonder where did that ever come from. Fortunately, half of society today are waking up realizing that they do need to find their own life partners.
They (half number of religious people) even claim that they need to be proactive in finding life partners. So what is going on here?
What is "fate"? If you talking about a B-2 Spirit bomber decided to just fly over and bomb the city, and i was there. Then that's definitely "fate". I think "Fate" is something that you can't control. Something like a B-2 bomber decide to just flyover, or a tsunami, or even a car accident by a reckless driver. No matter how good a driver you are, sometimes you can get kill because of other people.
Let me ask you a question: In dating context, IF we really can't fight "fate", then why do we look or lust for differential types of women everytime?
When your girlfriend leaves, there's another girl with that tight ass?
When you just get into a relationship, the girl you wanted back in high school becomes single, you thinking twice of cheating on your new relationship?
When you hanging out with your girlfriend, there's just another hot girl that you can't peel your eyes off?
In one of the two biggest religions, they say "Choose your wife wisely". Not exactly a direct translation but to elaborate it. It means look for good characteristics if you want to make a women, your wife. They (religion in original context) always emphasize choosing the right qualities. Screening perhaps? There was never a time where you magically end up with a girl. Even that also needs you to meet her on a dinner or something.
this is more painful for women, because "fate" is something you can't control, like accidents. Not marriage. Marriage is a choosing of your wifes. This makes women feel isolated, and terrible, because guys don't approach and things don't happen.
and the irony is that if you're a certain religion, you are allowed to marry 4 wifes. I don't think that's "fate". You don't just end up with 4 contracts and 4 wifes. You choose your wifes (that is if you want to get married).
Mainstream is distorted, with its information.
