Hey Gents!
Hope all is well, I have a little FR here about an interaction I had just a couple hours ago. I was in the mall because my brakes needed to be checked, and I just wandered, caught up on some GC articles, and occasionally approached. Still working on getting my direct approaches up to snuff, I'll occasionally get numbers, but they have either been ignored (fake) or the interaction is tough to grow. SO I decided to chill at a firepit in the mall with some nice couches and read GC.
A few minutes after me getting there, a lady came and sat down with her dog, I eventually opened about wanting to pet the dog (I thought she was too old at first, but decided screw it ;D ), and the dog was like a spunkier version of my dog, so I loved him, and eventually I turned my attention to her. She was prettier than I initially thought, but she was older than I was by a bit. Throughout things I just relaxed, stretched my arm behind the couch to the side (she wasn't there... sadly) and owned my position. I was coughing throughout with a bad get-this-out-of-my-throat cough (had a cold on Saturday), but I only lightly commented on how I wish it would stop, and never let it break me up. She was slowly getting a warmer look (progressing toward doe eyes). Eventually she asked my age (21) and I told her to guess and she said 30 (lol) and I didn't confirm and asked her how "young" she was (28), but she pressed for mine. This is where I believe I took the biggest conscious hit, instead of simply saying "31", I played around until she worked down to 21 (how old her middle brother is...yay...).
From there, I could definitely tell she was trying to NOT let herself be attracted (didn't totally work, but it worked enough...). I eventually had her move closer, but she didn't come right next to me (and I was coughing, so I wasn't going to fight this one), but her dog was right at home on my lap, if only she would have been ;D. We chatted more and I was trying to amp up my bedroom look (voice was hard to work with), and touch a couple times (she was SLIGHTLY too far away to easily reach her hand, which was also on the couch top, towards me), but it was feeling a little like a friendly interview, she wanted to to know my "stats" if you will, and I need to work on delivering it in a layered way. (I do deliveries and am building a business, Ambiance has given me tips, but my nature is super open, so I usually use his line, and end up spilling everything at the next mention)
*She told me she came down to SD for a "date" (she wasn't sure what to call it lol), and was stood up (*any tips for addressing something poor that's happened to a girl?*). I would occasionally alude to just having fun (she mentioned she just got out of a 4 year relationship, *any tips for managing this productively would be awesome*), and if I just had more experience, I feel I could have taken these somewhere, maybe gotten her to come closer (*tips for getting the most from experiences? Just review them and walkthrough different possibilities?*)*
I eventually mention going over to Starbucks for something to drink, and we danced back and forth about her going, then she mentioned how she gets hot water from Starbucks and Teavana samples and just puts the sample in the water (it was an awesome idea), so I sent her to Teavana while I got the water. Fast forward a few minutes, I come back and people have taken our firepit and she isn't there, so I walk in the direction and find her pretty close, walking super slowly trying to balance the sample cups. She looked hilarious (and is actually taller than me, didn't realize that), and I teased her about it, and we eventually got things sorted and walked towards the pits. They were pretty filled, but she said she'd be okay, but I pushed to go to these other nest couches, that were free.
We found one and sat and chatted a while more, she's still trying to probe me out, and I'm racking my brain for a way to smash her (while laying in the nest, arms behind my head, my outside knee up, inside leg down to open myself up, trying to do bedtime eyes, while her dog layed against me and I petted it), but she's mentioning she should go soon, I'm sick, we both live far, my car was in the shop (it got locked in overnight, btw........), and her car is a smartcar, I'm not that tiny... eventually it's time to head off, and I get her number, but she's pushing that she's busy and it's just for rock climbing. While we walked to the point where we would split, she was mentioning how my age was throwing her off (she wants my dick, but for age reasons, that can't happen...), while giving me this look that said "I want you, but won't", and I said "I'm actually about to turn 22, that's probably why..." (with a huge grin on my face). I told her good luck with her new job, and she mentioned wanting to rock climb at some point (I'm shirtless when I climb, she just doesn't know that yet :3 )
I doubt anything will ever come from this, but at the moment, it felt nice to have a little instant date while all my number closes have gone nowhere lately. Any tips on this interaction would be awesome! For sure will do Chase's age thing, and if anyone has any tips for dealing with girls in their late 20's and tips for pulling from a mall with bad logistics on both sides, that would be great! (and the *starred* paragraph)
