Hello people.
So, a little intro first. I discovered GC four months back, and needless to say, it changed my life and my perspective on life.
I am 18 and from India. I live in a smaller city compared to Delhi and Mumbai and people here are far more conservative to those cities let alone the other parts of the world. But I honestly think its only the older generation that's like that. ( since i've seen female friends laughing and easing up when i talk about sex and stuff like its no big deal)
And the media fabricating their own paradigms. So I guess, you all get a fair idea about the conditions I live in. Even make outs are a big fucking deal!
I'm moving to Delhi/Bangalore next year for college. As my exams start next month and im not allowed to go outside starting tomorrow till my exams are over, I decided to go out and do my first cold approach on the street. (did one at school before)
So, I go out when the other school buses start appearing in the vicinity. I keep running from one place to another in the hope of seeing some pretty girl..but no.
What Chase said about India is true. Very few pretty girls, but the ones that are pretty....they are good enough to be models. (most of them anyway)
I keep moving about for 30 mins in 31 degrees. At this point I am so frustrated at the temperature and for being born in this place that I decided to go back home. Suddenly I see a cute girl. (just for descriptive purposes im going to rate her 7.5-8)
I cross the road. At this point she enters a lane with NO people and one dog. PERFECT. She sees me but I turn my face. (dunno why i did that)
At this point AA kicks in. But I knew I'd kick myself if I didn't talk to her so I go up to her. At this point im panting like shit..and she sees me.Lets call her S.
Me : Hey..excuse me!
S : *stops*
Me : I just wanted to tell you that you're really cute. (it takes a lot of effort to speak because im tired from all the running)
S : Oh thank you. *her expression is a mixture of shock, bewilderment and a slight smile*
Me : What's your name?
S : S.
Me : Im go10. Do you live nearby? ( i put my hand forward to break the touch barrier and we shake hands for 2 sec)
S : Yeah. *continues giving the same look*
*I pant and pant so much its annoying*
Me. : Uh..are you single?
S : No. I have a boyfriend. (relationships here are basically two people with the bf-gf tag going to kfc and taking selfies)
Me : Damn..serious relationship?
S : Yeah..have you seen me before...or did you just come like that? where do you live?
Me : Yeah..I live nearby. I just thought you were attractive and hence I came..well anyway..bye.
I felt I could have moved the interaction forward because I saw her warming up bit by bit, but when I hear the 'I have a boyfriend' it kinda puts me off. And also the amount of effort it took me to speak after all that running was preposterous.
What did I do wrong and what did I do right? (anything) And what could I have done better? I think I am going to avoid asking the girls if they are single since most of them are not. Any feedback would be appreciated.
And anyone got any ideas for talking properly when you're tired as shit? Thanks.
