Met someone from online, and hooked up on first date, but next morning she didn't want to hookup again. I've noticed that if someone wants to see me a second time from online, hookup or not, after 1st date, they will usually text me within a few hours. The woman in question here did not. My gut feeling / instinct says it's a low chance I'll see her again because
- she didn't initiate text a few hours afterwards
- she didn't want to go again in the morning
- the hookup may not have been my best as I was stressed
I thought about not sending anything at all, due to my gut feeling, and maybe wanting to keep my dignity. However, I did send her a text 2 days later or 36hrs later something like that "Hey hername, had a great time with you. Hope you got your energy back
"
Her response a few hours later "Yeah all back now off to work"
Should I have trusted my gut and kept my dignity?
Should I send a text in 3 days from our last text, banter a bit how are you etc and then ask to meet or just ask to meet... or since there was lmr the next morning should I play this differently somehow, if it's not totally lost!
