Had my first ever sexual experience the other night. I was meeting up with a girl I had a first date with two weeks ago where I didn't have my logistics planned even though I probably could have done all this then too. We met up at a cafe, then moved to a restaurant, then a bar, then I said I was about ready to leave, we walked out and I asked her where her car was so I could "show her something" and directed her to my place 5 mins away. As we pulled into the parking lot she said "oh this is how you're getting me to go to your place" which I just ignored and kept the conversation going.
We walked inside, conversed in the living room, conversed in the kitchen, conversed in my bedroom, I leaned in and kissed her, she kissed back, and then back to the conversation. A few minutes later, more kissing, and back to the conversation, but after a minute or two she said "just so you know I'm not sleeping with you" which I think I actually responded to even though I probably should've ignored it. We go back to talking, and a few minutes later we're making out on my bed, I'm not really feeling particularly steamy, but it's also my first time getting here and only the fourth girl I've ever kissed so I'm lacking in experience.
Fast forward two hours or so of making out, talking, me rubbing my leg between her legs, making out, talking, she's telling me how she's had guys who didn't stop when she wanted them to so she hasn't slept with anyone in over a year and feels really apprehensive about sleeping with new guys. I reassure her about my position on consent which seems to set her at ease and I may have accidentally given the impression that I wasn't going to push for sex, and we're back making out. My hands are going places, she's subtly helping make my reach easier, and then her pants are off, then her top, then her bra, and I'm still fully dressed because I didn't think to help her take my pants off when she complained they were hard to remove. After a good amount of build up I'm playing with her with my fingers, and she's breathing heavily and irregularly, and that continues for maybe 20 mins until her breathing returns to normal which I interpret as either I got her off or the session's just done. We have another few of those sessions, alternating with her resting on various parts of my arms and chest as we talk, and by this point it's like 3am and we're just getting tired, so we end up falling asleep in my bed, with my clothes ironically coming off then so I can sleep comfortably. Maybe an hour later I wake up and notice she's getting dressed and she says that she can't sleep so I watch her get dressed and leave.
Should I have pushed to sex? I think in my reassuring her I may have accidentally agreed not to, would I have been in the wrong to keep pushing for it? What can I do better next time? Finally, while I'm not particularly attached to this girl, what's my next move with her other than asking her to coffee or something again and going for full on sex this time?
