So I'm new to the forums, but I've been reading a lot of articles and watching a bunch of video (mainly from RSD). Naturally I am introverted but I do generate a "cool" vibe but it's more of a detached one, a lot of times girls will approach me in social situations but I find that generally it the insecure girl that will make the initial approach and end up becoming clingy. I've decided to do the actual approaching, so this weekend I went to a party and was determined to at the very least start a conversation. I saw this girl I though was pretty standing on the wall with her friends, and I didn't know how to open. I was standing across the room with some of my friends and we made eye contact I didn't know what to do so by impulse I stuck my tongue out at her. I have no idea why I did that, after I did that i felt so stupid. she initially looked confused and then smiled. The smile told me it was okay to approach; so I went up to her grabbed her hand and we walked outside (it was a house party and they had the back door open for ventilation) This is how the conversation went.
Her: Why did stick your tongue out at me?
Me: Cause you looked sweet , I wanted to get a taste.
Her: (laughs) You're crazy
Me: Just a little bit
Her: hey, what do you mean by I looked sweet? don't I still
Me: You don't look as sweet up close...sorry
Her: Um OK that wasn't very nice
Me: *Talking in her ear* How about I taste and find out
Then I started kissing on her neck then I started to hold her, then we made out a bit.
Her: How do you think I taste now
Me: So-so (Smiles in a way to show that I'm lying)
Her: *She slapped me in a playful way*
From there we had like a regular conversation and I got her number. I feel like I was extremely corny, keep in mind I have a very monotone voice, and limited facial expression, so everything I say kind of seems sarcastic I'm told. Maybe with that as a factor everything I said didn't come off as me genuinely trying and just being facetious, when I was honestly just saying the first thing that came to mind. And the girl after talking to her for like 3 days, she's very sexual which is probably why she responded to the "you look sweet" thing and me sticking out my tongue. I just wanted to share my first experience initiating with someone, I'm open to critiques too.
