So I've been trying to get better with girls seriously for about a solid year, year and a half now. My dance floor/club game is decent but my day game/bar game could definitely use some work. My progress is slow but steady, I'm at that level where I can get phone numbers easily if I approach but they'll flake and then never respond. Here's a sample scenario:
I open the girl, comment on her dress/flirt with her, get investment, get her interests and learn more about her, and then grab her number after 5-10 minutes and leave.
I'll text them and they respond warmly, then we set up a meet and they agree every time. After that they'll flake with a text, usually the day before or 6+ hours before the outing. I say no problem. I text them in a couple days or so saying that we should get that tea, coffee, etc that we mentioned and then they'll just not respond.
Is this a common occurrence? What do you think I'm doing wrong?
Here's a sample texting conversation, paraphrased from my phone:
Me: Hey L, it's Draton, save my number.
L: Will do
going to sleep cause I have to be up in 6 hours, night!
Me: Ok, have a good night.
2 days later
Me: Hey L, I'll be in town for the weekend. Let me know if you want to hang out.
L: Okieee maybe Sunday would be good for me we can grab coffee or food.
Me: Yeah, I'll be free sunday as well. I could do 2 pm or 7 pm. Do those times work for you?
L: Yeahh either one works for me!
L: Actually 7 would be better for me because we have (some college orientation thing)
Me: Ok, 7 on sunday it is. Let's check out (local tea spot here, close to her dorms), unless you have any other ideas?
L: Okay sounds like a plan
I don't really know anywhere cool yet
Day Of
L: I actually have RA room meetings tonight so I can't do anything tonight
( sorry!
Me: No worries, it happens. Some other time then.
3 days later
Me: Hey L, hope your weekend was good! Let's grab that tea! I'll be free saturday starting at 2 and sunday @ 6, do those times work for you?
And then no response. Occasionally flake management will work, but most of the times it doesn't. Am I doing it wrong?
