Flake; to next or not to next

Hey guys, so Ill try to keep this brief
This is about a girl im thinking of nexting.. but i dont know if im being too harsh
What are your opinions? And where have i gone wrong? Criticize as much as you like its all appreciated


Went on a date with this girl - id say it went well, made out a bit but did not have sex.

I hit her up a few days later to meet up, shes keen but shes also ill and didnt want to set any plans in stone. i said ok let me know when youre feeling better.
she hits me up a few days later saying shes fine and tells me the days and times shes free and suggests a place.
the place is closed during that time so i suggest we meet later on when it opens - she declines saying she has plans with friends and offers to meet next week
i think i 'persisted' and suggested another spot.

she wasnt replying - it was the night before and if the plans with her were going to fall through i was planning on going hiking and i had the feeling this was going to fall through so i sent;
"[girls name], seems you're super busy right now; totally understandable. I'll leave the ball in your court -- let me know when your schedule clears up a bit and you can do lunch / dinner / drinks, etc. Hope we hang soon!"

To which she replied immediately that it was still on and looking forward to it..
The next day however she sent me a message saying something came up with her friend and she couldnt come.
I said; "Hey, no worries. (Do your thing) Drop me a line when your schedule clears up "

She gets in touch with me a week later - keen to meet up again - awesome but im travelling and im seeing the messages and cant respond though.. and she asks in text if im mad at her - My thinking was.. if im mad im weak.. if im not mad im weak and spineless.. so I ignore the comment about me being mad and reframe it as though im the one thats been out of touch and that we should meet up.. but her responses are not quite as perky as before but nvm..

We have a date set.. and she cancels again saying a friend offered her a ride back home for the easter holidays meaning she wouldnt have to pay for tickets and she accepted.. to which i repond..

I understand, things come up, have fun
youre a creative girl i know youll make up for it

Anyways i want to next her.. but i dont know if im being too harsh either

Hey Sherif,

Traveling:
If you're genuinely busy and traveling around it's okay to let a girl know that. "Hey so and so, I'm going to be out of town all next week. I'll get back to you when I get back." or when I don't send these "Hey so and so, I just got back from a vacation. Hope you been well " This way they see that you weren't ignoring them, you were just off enjoying life.

Time lapse: The longer you go without seeing a girl the more likely it is you won't see her again. I would put her on the back burner and wait for her to chase you. I would highly recommend seeking out more options especially if you guys are both out and about already. You guys can just meet up when the time is right. In the meantime, seek out more girls to fill your calendar out with days.
