Flirty girl

Hey guys, I'm hoping you can help me and tell me what I might've done wrong. Sorry this might be pretty long. I go to high school and there is this girl I never really talked to until like a week ago. I have a study hall class (which is a class where you don't do anything) 3 days a Week with her and I small talked and deep dived a little bit and I got her number. I told her that she seemed really cool and we should hang out some time, but she didn't really seem interested. I know she is a pretty flirty girl so I figured she just wanted to flirt and not go on a date or anything. Well to my surprise, she texted me Friday night (it's Sunday right now) and said she was laughing because I forgot about our date. I told her I didn't and I then told her she should come over my house to catch a movie at 7 on Saturday. She said her mom wouldn't let her and I told her it was understandable considering her mom doesn't know me (and she is a freshman while I'm a junior.
I then asked her where her mom would let her go and she said to name place. I said the movie theather and she said she will have to ask because she is staying over a friends. The next day she went to some activity that lasted most of the day so we didn't really talk. I texted her around 4 and told her to not forget about our date. She said her mom wouldn't let her. I told her to aska again and she said "ok, hold on lol" and never texted me back since. Should I assume she just wants to flirt and didn't really want to go on a date or maybe she was just afraid of saying that her mom wouldn't let her go? Thanks in advance!

Been here before myself many times my friend. Basically, if they won't meet alone with you they aren't interested and just like flirting. Yes girls are often busy and/or forgetful but once you have given her a few chances and she still hasn't come out with you it's time to move on.
