What's up gents,
Been out and about approaching around my school. I normally use the "hey I saw you walking and thought you were...." opener but wanted to try something more balsy and confident. Had heard a shit ton of dudes trying the "Are you single?" opener and figured I would try it on girls at my campus. So Im walking from an appointment I had scheduled with a few counselors and I see this skinny, average height latina. She had brown hair with red highlights. As we walk near each other she sits on a ledge in the courtyard. I had to piss like a mf so I use the bathroom and come back to where she's at. I open
I walk around campus for a few more minutes and am upset that I let a few approaches pass me by without taking action. (I'm still working through this phase at the moment). Decide the next girl I see I will approach. I start heading toward a learning center and just before I approach the steps I see a babe heading down my opposite way.
She was cute wearing a brown top with some black leggings. Her hair was light brown and she had a dark skin tone. She looked Filipina from my eyes. I open
I tell her well I just thought she was super cute and wanted to say high. She smiles and thanks me then I eject. I feel even though she said she wasn't single I could've stayed in set unlike the 1st girl.
I'm stoked I tried a new opener and I definitely feel more confident. B4 when I opened it was nervous and i couldnt stay in set longer than 5 seconds Now I can feel that confidence slowly building as I build my approach momentum.
As far as the opener, there is a different reaction from my standard compliment opener but I don't have enough experience to really tell the biggest differences. Gonna try it out some more all this week.
Feel free to comment on what I can do to tweak the approach to get better reactions.

At this point I noticed her body language was kind of closed. Her legs were frantic like and I could tell she was either nervous or kind off freaked out. I said fuck it and decided to eject, didn't want to seem like some creepy ass dude haha.Me: Hey, quick question?
Heracknowledges me)
Me: Are you single?
Her: (surprised look, kind of unimpressed) uhmm.. yeah... but I'm not looking for anything serious rn.
Me: oh, well i was just curious
her: repeats her last sentence
Me: woah I'm not talking about dating just yet. I want us to get to know each other first (I guess my attempt to set up a chase frame lol)
her: yeah well like I said I'm not looking for anything rn
