So here is the deal.
Hurricane Irma flooded the garage I was sleeping in. I crashed at the airport for a day and finally got lucky with a ride up north to Orlando.
I was about to rent a place but realized it's wiser to crash at some 24-hour spots and save money before I move out to TX within the month (I work from my laptop selling insurance)
ALL of this to say that I was walking miles to look at bicycles, biking miles to deposit money, buy underwear/socks, open a PO Box for my checks, and I haven't slept in 42 hours currently.
I walk into the Denny's I'm working from and there is a waitress who looked at me 3 times and ignored me... even gave me a dirty look.
After 3 attempts at flagging her over I stood up and walked over to her asking for some coffee.
She says, "Oh wow, you're all the way in the back! I didn't see you!"
I reply, "Yes you did. I'll have some whole milk with that. Thanks." Not in a dick way. Neutral and calm. (Chase if you read this, your articles on Calm and Kind have been amazingly helpful - thanks.)
She comes over apologetic and realizing that I wasn't going to buy her BS (I don't say that bitterly, but I'm tired, I want to work... I'm not wasting time with any formalities.)
I end up telling how basically lots of what she struggles with is a big ass sham in society and how she needs to grab her life by the balls and quit being dependent on a workplace (similar to a recent article regarding having a VERY extreme view) her face started to glow.
We talk about her cute butt - I pretend I'm gonna bite it, she slaps my hand giggling.
I'm smiling like it's been so fucking long that I've experienced this and I totally immerse into calling her a kinky little slut.
If you've made it this far -- don't give up... ever. I've gained weight, got depressed, became extremely fatalistic, almost killed myself... and like nothing happened, here I am - effortlessly executing things I learned two years ago.
I know it may not be much, but I've received zero responses for the last year or so - with the occasional fling here and there live. I do really bad with follow ups and dates. I'm really good at 20-minute fucks... like I sometimes feel I'm the .1% on this forum!
