I went downtown to practice. I mostly saw a lot of pretty girls and then bitched out. but there was this one girl that I passed on the street and I was about to let it go as well until I realized she had turned around, so I walked up to her
She seems pleased and we talk a little. She tells me she's from Sidney but she's Korean and just visiting for three days. She said she's looking for some steakhouse. Then I suggest to show her around some day and she says actually she's leaving tomorrow. So I just eject lol.
So my thoughts: Well this was my first time actually trying to start a conversation after a direct opener, so I'm just happy about that. But of course, there was lots of room for improvement. There's a lot more I could've talked to her about. I kind of just jumped the gun with asking to hangout. I think I could've just asked to move to the side of the walkway and said "let's talk for a bit and then I've gotta get going" That way it would be easier to reach the hook point.
I half-heartedly tried to open two more girls. Both were on the street. One I noticed was walking very fast so I caught up to her and was walking side by side. Then I turn to her and say hey, but she doesn't respond and she just keeps walking.
The other one, I also walk next to and then said hey. she turns, I stop walking as if to wait for her to stop and take her earphones out, her eyes widen in concern and she keeps on walking lol. Not sure, what happened there maybe I should've smiled, and maybe I looked a little nervous still so she mirrored that. She could've just thought I was going to try and sell something since it was on the street
