Warm ups were few. Girl who was walking past me. Girl who was waiting for someone. Girl who was walking opposite from me.

She had on cropped jeans ans a tight-fitting top. I saw her walking on her own in the same direction as me but on the other side of the road. I walked over to the side of the road she was on, hummed a tune and braced myself beside her.

"i saw you walking from there and since you're in my direction, felt i should talk to you. "
"ill soon get to my destination."
I keep talking with her. So far, she had only resisted since her tone was rather sassy. My peripheral catches her making a left so i step into the street on the left. She's closer to the curb so it's very easy here.
"what do you do? School, work or modelling? "
She smiles at 'modelling'and turns away. "Of course i don't model."
"Well, let me take your hand." *grabs wrist and points to nails* she snatched her hand back. I swiftly raise mine up in its place and keep an even tone as i tell her about the pedicure and manicure which depict modelling.
She gives a blank stare. Then she keeps walking. She repeats, "I'm about to get to my destination."
"Well, it's still early and you have a dark street there. If we sit somewhere close by, i know there is a spot not too far. "
"How do you know there is a spot there. Where are you based? " [i tell her]
She then leads me to where we can sit and we both take a locked - in sitting - that is, facing a blank wall and backing the street.
The neighbors are all over the place and this town has a community of about 10-15,000 people living in it. It's quite small. I know that reputation management is key so i allow this subtle gesture of high school dating to go on.
We talk for almost an hour. She and I laughing, teasing, touching lightly and often talking with sass - an african girl, she can't help but be sassy and it's lovely.
In the end, i realise this was going nowhere. She wanted to go home before the doors gets locked. I felt i could still catch more fish since it was barely 9pm.
My hands reach for my pocket but there's no way she's giving her number. I get up and she keeps walking behind me. I think she's really hooked at this point. However, i let it linger before i finally walk away. Maybe forever though i gave a hope of us seeing again.

"Hmmm. Well, if we were the parents of this child, we would fight a lot. " *she smiles wider*
"Are you botb going to that junction or before?"
She replies: "before. " Okay. There's compliance. I continue talking to the boy from here. Only stopping when they break their path to tell her.
"i think you look pretty and this is what is making me talk to you. " i said it warmly and held her waist as I was speaking. She sends the boy to find what he wants to buy and leaves me and her in a fast forming bubble.
At this point, ths rains begin so I say to the boy, open your umbrella and then I get under it with the both of them. She's all smiles now and i ask what they actually are looking for. They can't seem to find it in any of the stores. However she does the sending of the boy again and I wait with her under a shade from the rain.
"are you single? "
She doesn't know how to reply so I help her and whip out my phone camera and take a photo. She's blushing and running off from the lens. Soon, the boy returns and we walk on. As the rains get heavier, i take them both to their home and then the bag of goods split. She again asks the boy to pick them up and i take the chance to give her a huge smooch in the dark. After that she resists but stays when i tell her it's cause I appreciate her.
The boy is nos done picking the items but she still wants to go out so we both go and let the boy go back to the house. I was already fond of him.
Back on the street with her in the rain.
"How will you do that? You just met me and now you are doing that to me. That's molestation. Blah blah. "
We walk on in the umbrella. Im like " but you're so hot with that boy, i couldn't contain myself. Look it's getting heavier, let's wait in a shade for the rain to calm down."
She walks into a shade, i walk into another. She concedes to come join me. Here i begin holding her hands and rubbing her waist. She's comfortable with it and my frame is that of a caregiver then i go for some escalation.
She eventually has to pick up her things but she did not want me to go with her (reputation). And she begged me to wait for her to return. I resist at first *wink* then I do wait.
Finally she's back and immediately tries to run off and leave me, i remain unfazed at this because i was set to chase her in the rain (in good form - non needy) she runs back into me and I begin escalating on her again.
At a point, i could tell she was getting too heated up so I relaxed and allowed her go back to her place.
We exchange phone numbers but it takes another few minutes for her to go in because of how wet both of us could have gotten. Till tomorrow.

Just then some guy shouts my name from across the street. I turn around and see the orator. He asks me a painful question and turns away, looking forlon, when i reply him with a taste of his own medicine.
As i return to the girl since we were still dodging puddles in the earth, she says my name was exactly what the other fellow had mentioned and it is the same witb what I had told her. I said yeah...shows i have only one name. Stand here. Type your phone number. She does. I take hers. We then wait for the next transport. I end it as romantically as I can just to avoid lose ends.

So much.
1) warm ups do a whole lot of good. It gets you out of your head and if you have been warming up "all day" by keeping your convo momentum up from daybreak, it does make a gigantic snowball of social charisma and frame controls are easier too.
2) Pace with the girl. If she's not ready for the next step allow her to get more comfortable with you first. Like the last girl, she instantly felt at ease witb this stranger when I explained what made me take interest in her so quickly... The social proof just added to the mix.
3) approach from the back is waaaay easier. The reversr can result in a lot of sidesteps and run offs.
4) Just for fun, girls with kid boys make a perfect approach invite. Those with kid girls are more difficult because it's like a herd... So more reistance. With a boy, smooth. And with an umbrella it appears to make it all the more lubricated.
