FR Freshman with an attitude

Hey guys just some quick background info

I just started back to Cross Country like 2 days ago and I saw this really cute freshman with the guys on the team surrounded all around her trying to impress her. Lucky for me, none of them know about GC I knew I had to get her number and I sure as hell knew those guys treating her like a goddess weren't going to get it, or if they did they weren't going to get very far with her. I pulled out my asshole/aloof game and even though I didn't really talk to her all that much (until today) I got her attracted pretty hard. Im sure some of my fundamentals were shit because I just got done with a 12 mile run right when I did this. Just a side note, In my two days there I noticed this girl has some serious attitude. Not like mean, but like she is superior to everyone else and everyone knows it. Anyways, on to the FR!

I walk up to her and I don't see any of her friends around, it looked like they were out running their cooldown
Me: hey sassy freshman
Her: Why do you always call me that?!
Me: That's why
Herlaughs)
I don't really remember what I said directly after that, but we continue to banter back and forth for a few minutes and then her friend (who was giving her a ride home) said that they have to go. She started to leave and then I said:
Me:Hey Megan, come here
Her: (She walks over)
Me: (I unlocked my phone and handed it to her) Here put your number in my phone, you're a cool girl we should hang out some time (tried to say this with a sexy voice but I feel like I should've implied something more date-like instead of friend-like. not too sure if that will affect me later, any thoughts on that?)
Her: (puts her number in my phone, as she is doing that she says) i know everyone in the school, i have so many friends (<----- don't know why the hell she said that, sign of disinterest?)
Methen i fucked up and said) oh really do you know (buddy)
Her: Uhhh yeah (she hands me my phone back
Me: Ok cool, see you around Megan
Her: Arent you going to save it?
MeJust realizing i locked my phone without saving her number) Maybe if you're lucky, we'll see

and that's that. Im going to send her a text in about an hour or two saying "hey its Atlas, save my number " and try to set up a date. A quick question on that, i live with my parents and don't really have a place to escalate, any suggestions on that or on date ideas for a situation like that?

i feel like the only thing i could've done better was to get some more kino, but it was pretty difficult with the circumstances the way that they were, but oh well. Any comments, thoughts, or criticism i would really appreciate. Thanks for reading guys

When you get a girl qualifying herself like that ("I'm so popular"), usually best to just qualify her back on it: "Well, you're a very sociable person!"

(as an aside, the reason she said that was to defray the awkwardness of standing there giving you her phone number - she was essentially saying, "Oh, I'm giving my number to someone else - gee, I know everyone!" It was more for the benefit of anyone who might be watching/observing than for you so the act of handing out her phone number doesn't look like it's a big deal where she's signing on to be your girlfriend or anything to anyone who's observing. She might be in the future, but she doesn't know you that well yet and doesn't want to make some kind of social commitment, so she needs to play down the act of giving you the number)

Thanks for the reply Chase! I didn't think of that before but you're definitely right, there were some people around. I wish I could've provided a little more dialogue but it was a pretty fast interaction and I only forgot about a sentence or two. Thanks again!
