I'm relatively new to pickup and this is my first post. Last night I went out solo for some night game at a downtown bar. I live about 1 hour away, so my close plan is usually to go back to the girls' place. However, this particular FR deals with a girl who lives with her parents about 1 hour away in the opposite direction:
I opened the set solo with 3 girls. A couple acted interested, but I started targeting the one closest to my left. After several rounds of back and forth questions between me and her, I asked her to turn towards me and away from her friends. She half-complied by turning half towards me. This was a little awkward since the two of us were now positioned like the letter "T". Anyway, the conversation was light and fun, and her two friends eventually peeled off. I then moved her to a different part of the bar to which she complied.
In this more isolated section of the bar where we were away from her friends I got an invitation to escalate, so we started making out. About 1 minute into making out I said, "lets get out of here". (NOTE: I am inexperienced with closing so this is really the only line I know.) She then replied with "I can't leave my friends" or "I have to sleep at my parents' tonight" (I cant remember which). We then continued to make out, but I sensed her getting hornier so I said again "lets get out of here". We got our coats and left the bar.
While outside she asked "so where are we going?" I tried to be as vague as possible, but implied that we would get a cab to go to my place. She resisted and insisted we go for a walk during which she pulled me into a dark area and we made out some more. I didn't feel this area was private enough for more escalation so I merely accepted defeat and we went back to the bar together. I simply did not know any private areas for a lay.
Therefore, I would appreciate any comments on how my interaction seem to have went, how I could have handled her LMR better, and how I could have gotten the lay given our seemingly impossible logistics.
