Hey guys!
Soo, I'm in a relationship. I really like the girl, and I thought it was about time. I realized I need relationship experience. My fundamentals are getting pretty good (almost too good, girls are starting to forgive me for really stupid mistakes I make haha), but I realize I have no real emotional tact, and I've never actually been in a relationship. It's all fine and dandy for just being a guy who's in casual relationships, but if I do find a girl I want to spend a lot of my future time with, rather than becoming a pimp boss with 20 girls in rotation, then I'd like to be able to run the relationship smoothly and not be fumbling in the dark trying to find the keys to a car that I'm about to crash.
I'll keep you guys updated with details about it. I'm also going to remain social, and talk to girls and people. I'm not trying to marry this girl, I just really like her and would like to see where this goes and get some experience in this type of thing.
As for the girl, she's in that curious stage that chase talks about in girls' partner counts. Judging from her past and how I've observed her, she's pretty emotionally invested in me but there's a chance things could end messily down the road. She's already worried about me talking to other girls. I'm going to Mexico in March, and in response to me saying that it was gonna' be me and two friends turning up, she started crying. This was a few hours before we offically started dating just each other. Her crying had nothing really to do with me becoming monogamous with her - I had already planned on it before I had even seen her that day. It's just interesting to see that now my actions not only affect myself emotionally, but another person. This will definitely teach me not to be so ham-fisted with my words.
So yeah, first relationship, definitely not the last, and definitely not the last time you'll see me posting on the boards. I'll stay updated in this post occasionally to let you guys know how it's going, and I'll stay as active as I have been giving advice on the boards and probably posting OR's and whatnot.
