I know that there have already been articles written on this subject; I've already read them. And I already know about the newbie challenge as well as the free ebook. But, I'm wondering if I need to work on improving my physique (I'm asian and incredibly skinny) and fashion sense (non-existent) before I go out doing those exercises and going out to interact with women in general?

No...

You're good to go.

Below is a picture of Johnny Soporno. He gets mad pussy and well just look at him. He's also somewhat of a dating coach.

You should be improving those things alongside your actual skillset. In fact, I always hit the gym before I go out. Its helpful both physically and psychologically. As for fashion...you can probably become above average in that department in just one shopping session. I mean, just look at the guys around you. They dress the same way they did when they were five. All you need is like, one or two cool items and you're already head and shoulders above most the competition (not that you should stop there!).

Also, not all women prefer muscular men. In fact, David Tian (a dating coach) had several studies in a program of his which suggested that women preferred skinnier men to the more muscular. Just some food for thought.

On the subject of fashion, try not to go too ballistic, I think within a week of reading Chase's ebook I went out and spent about $1000 on clothes (this might have been my first concrete step as a seducer actually, apart from consciously committing to doing everything in the book), but actually I don't wear any of those clothes anymore, apart from one jacket I think. I have been on several shopping trips since and realized the clothes I bought the first time were slightly too large. So keep in mind, that if you're going to go out approaching (in particular the newbie assignment), you don't actually need a whole lot of outfits, just one good outfit will do the trick, since she hopefully hasn't seen you before, so it doesn't matter that you're wearing the same clothes every time you go out. If you do this then you'll give yourself time for your fashion sense to naturally evolve before you commit a whole lot of money, it will still be an expensive process though. Anyway, there's lots of resources on the web and on this site, you can probably find your own way around... search for e.g. "winter look book", as many top end retailers will publish them.

Some other recommendations, order a titanium chain on the web, can't remember exactly but I think I bought a 24cm claspless chain in a 7mm width, get some cologne and other jewellery (rings in my case), get a haircut. I went to a brilliant hairdresser who suggested a look just for me, where I smooth everything over to the side with wax, and one side is shaven pretty short and the other side is an undercut, anyway find a hairdresser who is a bit inventive and can give you a look that's tailored to you. Well I won't go on with further details because you can fill them in yourself, but this should give you examples of some quick and easy fixes. Above all, just get out there and approach, it really does not matter if all the pieces aren't in place yet, cos it will take months to gain enough experience anyway.

PS. Okay I will add one further detail, which is that your shoes are incredibly important, make sure they match your outfit, and clean them every time you go out.
