Met a new girl today.
Short, mixed asian, nice body, and a very cute face with the signs of "I am a pretty princess" written all over her.
I do have a thing for girls like this.

Reason I'm writing this post is because I love when I get that "it's on" moment out of the blue.

The moment:
I was out all day traveling to work.
A person from work knew I was going to this city, and asked me to deliver something to another coleague at that city's local office.
I worked all morning checking a construction site and arrived at that place at lunch time.
Unpacked my lunch and started to chat with the locals.
After maybe 15 minutes, the cute asian arrived.

I was sitting facing the door, and as soon as she arrived we crossed looks.
She was out all morning collecting biological samples, so she was wearing a very unsexy special gear to protect her body
(they colect those literally in the mud sometimes).

Without thinking I threw a quick observation about her outfit and line of work, and she giggled.
Not gonna lie, besides her face, I didn't noticed how cute she was at first, so I went back to eating and messing with my phone, not paying too much attention.

She started to take off the gear to stay in her normal clothes.
Clock ticked 5 minutes and she was clean and ready to eat.
She sat by my right side, and offered me some of her lunch.
I said "thx, I'm fine" and started a conversation with her.

Told her a bit about myself and asked simple probing questions to get to know her better.
Don't know precisely when, but soon I got the feeling that it was on between us.
Like a light bulb turned on, but not only on myself...noticed that on her too.
It was a nice warm moment, kinda like reality distortion, but unintended.
(I kinda do that naturally with new chicks, but the way she reciprocated was something special).

She offered me some guava and some jabuticabas she collected in field.
I took the latter. After I finished, she offered me some more, which I refused at first, but took after she insisted.

Mind you that all that happened in a very short time spam, and with other people crossing the room.
Our bubble became that strong that fast.

Soon it was time to leave, I had to come back home.
Went to the bathroom, then went to the kitchen to wash my dishes, hoping she would stay there.
She did.

When it was time to say goodbye, I casually asked her number using some excuse.
She gave it with a big smile.
We walked together, I went to the door, and we said our final goodbyes.

Aftermath:
Got back to the office and opened my phone to text her a message.
As soon as I added her, there it was, a photo of her hugging a dude.

Texted her anyway, said hi and thanks for the fruits.
She replied shortly, saying she was sorry for not telling me she had a BF, telling it was a pleasure to meet me.

I said "no worries, you did nothing wrong"
For now I'll leave it like that.
Not interested in destroying a relationship (like I did so many times in the past).

But that moment was real, and rare...so I had to share with you guys :)
