Ghosting on tinder/snapchat, value or attainability?

Title says it all!
I'm going for girls decently in my league but i'm losing maybe 30 percent of the girls i'm talking to when i make the final push to lock down a time to meet. Last one simply blocked me when she asked where i wanted to meet and i said "your place" because she was in a town 30 miles away.
Banter is there so i don't believe its a comfort thing, although I usually only spend 2-3 days and 10 messages getting to know them.
I'm wondering if they never intended to meet me but i simply kept them interested until they realized they didn't actually want to meet.
I'm also wondering how much you guys persist in trying to get a chick out with you. i will usually be direct if i get a shitty answer that puts me on a wait list which has gotten me through a couple times. not sure i'm calibrating correctly to every situation though. could be a variable i am missing that's only there with online stranger game

This is perfectly normal. The majority of girls online are there to waste your time, so screen them early to find the ones that are serious about meeting up.

Banter is there so i don't believe its a comfort thing, although I usually only spend 2-3 days and 10 messages getting to know them.

Haha way too long. The girls that are actually serious about meeting up don't need any comfort. Pitch your date idea after 2 or 3 messages. If she's game, grab the number, send her a text telling her who are, when she responds, tell her you are going to call her, call her, talk for a bit and figure out logistics - DONE.

Nope. Why waste time on a girl whom you have 0.001% chance of getting anywhere with? The guys that do persist are the ones with no other options.

Excellent points! I think the reason I even bothered persisting that much was 10 messages is a LARGE investment for me.
Probably trying to over game, I didn't realise persistence would be seen strictly as desperation but it makes sense since I don't know them.
Gimme a week to try this and I will post results

After testing this out I had some interesting results.


I am getting far less replies then I used to and having far more girls unmatch me. However this is a good thing as I'm still getting about the same amount of dates/hangouts and the girls actually seem to be more into me (guessing because I'm not beating around the bush)

I have reduced my time on tinder per day to 10 minutes from around 40. All in all this has worked great, thanks for the advice!

Exactly! I"m glad you had the balls to take the advice. Most guys don't realize that online isn't the place to talk to chicks. It's used to set up dates and get laid. Too many guys are afraid to scare a girl off by moving too fast, but it honestly doesn't matter. The girls that want to meet you will do so very quickly, and the girls that don't, will never meet you even if you wasted days texting them "to build comfort" so screen them out ASAP.
