INITIAL TEXT
After a text and a call not replied I sent a "last chance text" that sounds a bit like
"OK, last chance for you, see if you wanna miss this opportunity or.. ".
INITIAL CALL
She calls back and she's angry.
She asks who the hell was I to write in a such a way, if I was important or something as she couldn't see the rationale of such a message.
I say "we just go out and drink a beer and you'll see".
She "I don't drink beer, I drink champagne".
At this point I'm thinking "I hang up in 10secs and that's it".
But as I say it's either she wants to meet for who I am or not at all and I'd only do something "simple" she calms down and the convo starts getting more normal.
She asks if "I party all day and smoke shit" as she doesn't like people who do that.
I'm not sure whether or not she asked if I was important and mentioned the champagne because she's a gold digger or because she was really lost after the text and/or probing to test my mettle.
SECOND PART CALL
After she calms down the convo becomes normal and quite funny and we keep talking for like 15 mins (a lot for a guy who never calls and doesn't like talking on the phone).
She says she's not in town and that she travels a lot and often, but she was also keeping her cards close to the chest (I don't know what does she do).
SO... WHAT DO I DO?
As I deflected all the direct questions about myself, I assume she might actually be thinking I'm a big shot, which I'm not.
And which gives me two options:
KEEP THE Mystery...
I don't usually like saying everything about myself.
But this time might be a bit different: I wouldn't want to keep anything open with a gold digger who's aiming at the wrong guy, but...
SPILL THE BEANS
But she might not actually be a gold digger, I don't really know.
And if I say "look I'm just not rich/important" it will sound like I'm backtracking and what I'm really saying is "don't meet me".
Suggestions, ideas... ?
