Girls who like to talk a lot / get comfortable before first date

The usual strategy -- recommended by the community and used by me -- is to minimize the amount of talk before securing a first date w/ a Tinder match.

But what if the girl is a skittish type who needs a lot of talk to get comfortable? This is rare but it happens. It's uncharted territory for me and I don't really know how to force such small talk in a satisfying way.
