Good low competition markets in the US.

I recently read Chase's article about good low competition markets for guys so I wanted to know, what are some examples of such cities or towns in the USA?

NYC, San Francisco, Miami, San Diego, and Los Angeles are high competition places which are tough to do well in for most men so what places would be opposite of that?
